I'm doing a project for Algebra 2 where we are trying to find an example of an equation that is used in our field, mine is Advertising and Graphic Design. I'm using the golden ratio and I understand that one of the equations is
1/x=x/1-x
Are there more? And how would i plug those numbers in?
What is the golden ratio[or golden segment] used for in graphic design?
It can be used in photoshop for touch-ups on models in magazines, right?
